Pablo Novoa is one of the musicians with the most solid and prolific careers in Galicia. He started his musical studies at the age of 12, and when he was barely 14 years old he started to play the guitar in several rock bands in Vigo. In the early 1980s he emerged as a member of the band Golpes Bajos as guitarist, keyboardist and percussionist. His career is characterized by countless top-
level collaborations: Mastretta, Ketama, Marlango, Iván Ferreiro, Deluxe, Josele Santiago, Alaska, and the cream of the crop of Spain’s pop and rock scene in the last few decades. One of his most recent artistic projects is Radio Pesquera, an elegant guitar duet together with Nono García.
He has been the composer of the soundtracks for several feature-length documentaries such as Concertinas, Contrabando and Afranio, and has created a serene, elegant original soundtrack with his personal hallmark for Cocinando en el fin del mundo.
